2020 MLK PARADE

PARADE RULES

 

  • The organization/participants will check in at the parade forming area prior to line-up.

  • Your staging area must be clean before entering the parade (please use receptacles and bring your own trash bags).

  • The name of the organization or business must be displayed on both sides of all floats and vehicles.

  • Dance/Stepping Groups must display a banner with their name on it.

  • Dance performances MUST be Family Friendly. Dance/Stepping Groups displaying vulgar or inappropriate behavior will be removed from the parade. No exceptions!

  • Civic Organizations must display a banner with their name on it.

  • No partial/full nudity allowed at anytime (this will result in fines from the police).

  • No moving on or off of any float or vehicle during the parade route.

  • Drinking is strictly prohibited. No bottles or glass are allowed on the floats. Plastic cups are allowed.

  • Music with profanity or lude content is strictly prohibited. PLEASE be sure you have the clean version of all music
